  Avid Xpress Pro 4.0.1 doesn’t play the timeline

  Hello

  I am using

  Titanium G4 1,5 KHZ

  LaCie D2 800 FW, 7200

  OS 10.3.9

  Unfortunately I can just scroll the clips but not play in the timeline. Avid always crashes.

  Help???

  Is the Lacie your storage drive? At 7200rpm, and firewire to boot, it’s no wonder it’s crashing. I’d go internal, or even SCSI…. But that’s just me.
