  Timecode Reader

  Does anyone know of a plug-in or filter for Avid Xpress Pro that will read a clip’s timecode and display it on my monitor (a la fcp)?? Need to do some dubs of an edit with the source timecode burnt in.

  I don’t know of any that can read the source because the current AVX specification does not give access to that information. This is usally done at time of capture but that may not work in all workflows.
