  Media Conversion Calculator

  We are always running into the problem of how much space to allocate to a project. Does anyone out there know of a Conversion calculator for PC that tells you how much space you will need for given times and resolutions. It would be a greta tool if I could find it.

  There is a chart in the Avid Knowledge base for all codecs based on 2 tracks of audio.

  Also if you turn on the Digitze Tool there is a section that tells you how much record time you have based on resolution, amount of audio tracks and disk space left.
