AVID Dongle dumper MAC Meridien
Hi,
I’ve purchased an secondhand AVID dongle, macintosh ( eve3 ) I only have an Avid Adrenaline on PC and an Avid Composer Meridien on PC. So i cant use those systems to chaeck the dongle. Does anyone know how to do a dongledump. I have a G4 mac, but i do not have the Avid software for MAc and can’t find a dongledumper for MAC. can someone help me?

It’s 10/25, and no one has answered you. Who on earth would sell an AVID dongle without a board set. Is it a LEGAL dongle?
You say it’s a Macintosh dongle, but what on earth is eve3 ? Is it a Meridian system, or an Adrenaline system ? Or is it an old ABVB system?
You go to the Utilities folder, and go to DONGLE DUMPER to show the info on the dongle, but who knows if you have a legal dongle. You just can’t get a dongle and have a LEGAL AVID system. One call to AVID support, and you will be put in jail, where you will be tortured until you confess who sold you the illegal dongle.If you have a MAC G5, you need a 933MHz MAC, and you “probably” have a USB dongle. No one would sell a legal dongle without a board set – and where will you get a board set for a Meridian AVID G4 system for your dongle.

Legal…. mmm. i don’t know. All i know it came from a bankrupt company any i got it from the guy who bought the lot of MACs. He said it was an Avid dongle but i askes and he didn’t bought any AVID hardware. So i bought it from him for a few euro’s. Just for fun. Maybee it isn’t an Avid dongle at all. But who cares.. I’ve already have 2 LEGAL systems running and no need for anotherone.
The thing is it is an USB dongle but only suitable for MAC. so i guess it has to be from a MAC meridien system because the ABVB MC i’ve had worked with an ADB dongle ant the PC meridien i own has a USB dongle only for PC. The Adrenaline i have has a dongle suitable for both PC and MAC. Also the Avid Xpress DV 3.5 i own ( bij the way all LEGAL!!!) has a PC/MAC suitable dongle.
I already downloaded an MAC MC11.8 from avid so i’m going to make a dongledump soon. if anyone is interested i will let you know the outcomming.
