Have you tried deleting your user settings? Also delete the msmFMID and msmMMOB files on your media drives.

That was my first thought based on the information you provided. It could be just bad drivers. You may need to uninstall the drivers and delete any reference to them in the registry.

I had the same problem a week ago. I had reinsatlled new drivers. Rolled them back and it was fixed.
