    Hello all you grazers.

I used to use a little plugin named Moving Picture that orked quite nicely with hi res moves on still images.
We have since upgraded to the Adrenaline and I was told of an effect that comes in the package named Pan & Zoom.
I noticed that you are limited to only the x and y axis. Do I need to go back to Moving Picture or is there something I’m missing?

Thanks for your help and keep sane during the holiday season

    No no no!

Go back to Stage Tool’s Moving Picture. Pan and Zoom / Pan and Scan stinks. It’s probably fine if true, unadulturated Avid EDLs are your passion, but for just getting it done, ST’s MP is much better!

‘ve been using it for years now and have had folks across the country do offlines of the moves on the free download of the software (with the red line through it) and email me the moves in a folder with the Avid Sequence Bin. It works beautifully in SD & in 1080iHD on my Adrenaline. The way Bill Ferster coded ther software, it follows the project’s size and resolution, so it would probably work in IMAX too. Only thing you have to do is make sure you check 16×9 mode vs 4×3 mode… it’s the only setting that doesn’t remember itself.

S’ not law. Just my 2
