Hello all. Two quickies for you. First does anyone have a problem in Marquee with certain fonts putting capital “A” too close to other letters. (ie the word “CAT” the A is closer to the c then the t. Sounds like a kerning issue but it doesnt show up in all fonts and it just seems to be with the letter A. Next, I build :30 spots for work. When done, I use MediaMover to backup all data pertaining to spot for client XYZ and delete from machine. In two months, client XYZ comes back and wants revisions. I put everything back into computer make revisions and want to back up revised version. Can I / how do I differentiate between the two versions. or how do I just backup the second version and not the first version again?

I don’t ever use marquee (it scares me) but I can answer the second question.
I would leave the Version 1 backup on the backup drive. Then with the new version, consolidate it and back it up seperately. That way, if you need all the media, it’s still there from your first backup, and if you just need the second version it’s available quickly. Also, you could consolidate any newly digitized footage with the Version 2 backup.

Thanks for the advice. I am trying to remove the projects from the computer to free up space. So I am backing up to DVD. I understand what you are saying, but I dont think that it will work within my flow. Also, dive right into Marquee. it isn’t Inscriber, but it isn’t that bad either. (just my .02 cents)
