  Progress Undetected in Capture

  Having the problem that while capturing in AVID from a Canon GL-2 through firewire connection onto my iMAC the capture aborts with the message : “progress undetected, video captured may be incomplete or unusable.”
  does anyone know why this is happening? Is there a setting i can change?

  seriously, this is a really annoying problem that’s making it almost immpossible to capture complete work. if y’all could please give me a hand with this i’d really appreciate it.
