  Smooth Edges in AE

  Hi 🙂

  I am scaling a HD image down to SD. exactly 50%. But I get ugly, pixel lines. But holding down the Mousebutton on the cursor everything gets smoothed and looks ok again. And the same when rendering. So basicly everything is ok. But it’s no good working that way. How can I force it to show me the good quality all the time. It’s not interlaced footage and I have the tracks set to best quality.

  Is your comp window at 100% and full res?

  hi when i use alpha matte for compositing(positining)that particular matte edges are really hard its like a cardboard ,Edges are not merge with bg, but in nuke there is some option in nuke and fusion but i dontknow in aftereffects
