  h.264 export?

  We are using AVID Media Composer…and with my limited knowledge of codecs, I was wondering if there was anything set-up yet with the relatively new h.264 codec? Is AVID capable of exporting out quicktimes with the h.264 codec?

  Not directly – you can export as QT reference to a third party application or open in QuickTime Pro and save as h.264.

  Hey Michael…

  Since H264 is part of the latest QT…couldn’t you just choose that as the codec once you said that QT was what you wanted to output?
