  avid xpress pro desn

  hey guys,

  i installed avid xpress pro 4.6 on my comp, everything worcked fine. when i started the program it said, that it cant find any audiocards on my system… that there are however unsupported audiooptions. There are however no options shown which i could choose of just no audio and quit. when i open avid there is no sound configuration option in settings, as i read in the manuell…. my card is the esi 1010. os is xp proffessional. my soundcard works normal in cubase, logic etc.
  does someone know how i can get the sound work in avid?

  With Avid you’re stuck with either built-in mobo sound or Creative Soundblaster (Audigy 2 works fine). I don’t think Avid wants folks using pro audio gear inside their NLE – that’s why they own Pro Tools.

  I do with they would ad support for M-Audio cards since they now own them. They could easily take over the Soundblaster business.

  pentium 4, 2,4 ghz;
  asus p4c e deluxe;
  512 mb ram;
  abit radeon r9600 se;
  esi 1010 audiocard;
  win xp professional sp 1
