  Digital cut does not record sound

  Digital cut does not record sound. video is ok.

  Avid Express Pro HD 5.x
  deck DSR11
  project is 23.97 frames
  All video bands are selected
  all efects are rendered

  to create the digital cut i go to clip/digital cut
  to get the digital cut interface up. Then, i select all the audio bands, the video band 2 V2 (becouse i have titles). for output i select the 23.97 drop frame, DVP25 for mode.

  please help!!!!!

  Does the sample rate of the audio in the footage match the sample rate of the project? If you have 32KHz or 44.1KHz audio in a 48KHz project, you will have a problem outputting to tape.

  just in case we mixed down to a 48KHz to ensure no sound diferences.
  we istil have the problem.
