Could someone post a location to download the Avid codec for an Adrenaline? I need to convert files in QTpro into Avid files. The QTpro is on a Mac 10.3.7 and the Avid is on a Windows XPpro.

    Thanks

There is no Adrenaline codec per se. For SD, Adrenaline uses Meridien based compression and DV25/DV50. Just download the Meridien codec –

For HD, it uses DNxHD and DVC Pro HD. These are not available for Macs.

So that is why when I use the codec I have loaded in to the MAC, I get problem with compressor.

I know I can send an animation file for the Avid. I guess there is no way to send a native file, right?

    Thanks for the help.

I would use Animation codec for delivery. It does create large files but guarantees great quality – no matter the platform. And it prevents the client from coming back to you about recompression.
