  QT export with timecode burn in

  can anybody tell me if there is a setting in avid xpress pro which would allow me to export my edit (75 mins) with visible timecode as a quicktime export (to be used in a protools session)
  i can see that illusion FX timecode can be applied to the edit as an effect….is this the only way?

  Yes, that is the only way to go as for QuickTime and a visible TC burnin.
