  DVCPRO HD100

  Do avids support this codec if the media has been captured via FCP as QT files?

  Can it be immediately used in an Adrenaline HD (without importing or transcoding) or does AVID have their own version of the CODEC.

  I have been able to import FCP-captured DVCProHD files into Xpress Pro HD as long as they have a .mov extension. They do have to be “re-wrapped” as MXF files, so there is an import/conversion process, but it doesn’t appear to degrade the image. I’m not sure about Adrenaline, though. Xpress Pro HD supports direct capture via 1394 of DV25, DV50 and DV100 (DVCProHD) footage.
