  Need some project advice… anyone? anyone? Buhler?

  I’m goin to be filming an event and each performance will be approx 2:30 in length. I want to be able to film straight to a hard drive as well as on a miniDV tape. I’m going to have about 1000 performances by the end of the weekend. I just need to know what the best way is to manage this…

  1. Is it possible to film straight to a hard drive and a miniDV tape at the same time? Are there any reasons I shouldn’t do this?

  2. I’m going to have tons of files that are obviously going to be rather large… what’s the best way to manage all of them? Just get a slick server and lots of storage? What should I be concerned with?

  3. The final product is dvd. Does that impact the process at all?

  Any additional ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
