aduio underrun: what am I missing
Just finished a project and went to digital cut. Got the audio underrun error. Did a search and see it’s a common problem. Printed out a very detailed post and checked everything. All the settings matched and performed what ever it said to do.
Still ot the error. Tried to cheat and just play back the timeline so I could go to tape to give the client something to look at. Plays fine but, about 1 min left in the program audio goes wayyyy out of sync. Stop and start again, audio is in sync again. I thought to blow away all the media and re-digitize, taking the audio to a seperate drive,currently it is on one. Other than that I’m stumped.
I’m working in DVcam, the project is very basic, 2 video, 2 audio tracks. My machine is well able to handle it. Here’s my system specs.
HP xw 8200 xpro 4.6 / mojo
2G ram
dual 3.20 mhz
160 sata boot drive
2- seagate 300G ext FW drives
PYRO PCI 64 second FW card
Approved Audigy card
Approved nvidia card -

This is a common bug. Try re-editing the final two edits of your sequence.
Don’t forget to render in/out.
