Hi (sorry if you have read this post on another forum)

Has anyone noticed any performance increase going up the Nvidia range on a MCA?

I’m using a Xw8000 with a Quadro 980. If I then replace it with a XW8200 with the benefit of PCI express can I get anything more out of Quadro 1300,1400, or the 3400?

The fixing of the scratch removal tool is a real bonus (its unusable with the 980) but what else? I feel if I am going to spend the money I should buy the best graphics card that will run since there is not a great cost difference between them. However if there is no difference then I’ll save my money.

    Any experience most welcome?

The graphics card will only affect 3D FX and Marquee in regards to Avid functions/features. The rest are host CPUJ/RAM dependent.

The higher the model number the faster for 3D. 1300 or 1400 is fine.
