  Why Avid doesn’t see a PCI of digi 001 as a sound card

  I install on my PC a Avid Xpress Pro 4.6 and Pro Tools 6.4 with Digi 001. I hoped to use for avid editing as a sound card a PCI from digi 001. I disabled a Realtek Ac97 which i have on a motherboard but in a sound card configuration menu in avid all the time i get realtek. Avid doesn’t want to see a PCI digi 001 as a sound card. Why ? please help!!!
