  Cinemotion

  I am trying to get the pulldown look of film within the AVID. I have tried a few plugins but the interlacing is to noticable on wide shots. Cinemotion looks interesting but it is only for After Effects. Any thoughs on an Avid plugin for this.

  Which Avid are you using? On Xpress Pro and Adrenaline you can go to the FLuidmotion effects tab and drop the preset “FluidFilm” effect which will created true 24fps with 2:3 pulldown.

  If you don’t like it, I’ve cheated by creating a motion effect (100% speed) rendered one field only. It’s not the best, but it works.

  Too much aliasing and loss of detail.
