  Avid DS-Audio Import & Capture Problems

  Hello to all, I have the Avid DS 6.02 at work, and I’m trying to figure out how do I import an audio clip from I Tunes into the DS 6.02?

  I’m also trying to capture footage from tape. I went through the different capture settings (ie. explorer, on the fly, tape, etc). I tried all of them, but it never captured, or I couldn’t see the capture, so I stopped it. Am I suppose to see the DS capture the footage?
  What are the different capture settings for? (ie. explorer, on the fly)

  Hey, Melvin… don’t kill yourself trying to go direct into the DS from the ipod. Transfer your audio via firewire to your workfolder that that is labeled “audio in” then import the tune the regular way into DS,thru your capture tool.
  For the tape capturing question, it’s all in your manual…check it out.
