  Title tool

  A client with an older MC (v. 9, possibly) has composed a simple title in Title Tool. It shows up OK in the TT compose window, over video.
  He saves said title, drags into source window, sees only black. Tries cutting it on a V2 track in the timeline, just black.
  I’m not anywhere near an Avid for a few days, and I’ve never seen this (neither has client, until today), so don’t have any troubleshooting advice to offer, other than relaunch Avid, reboot the system. Any words of wisdon?

  Or try creating a new user setting. Current one might be corrupt.

  Hey,

  On the bottom of the tool you’ll see the little “V” which is the video background button. If you turn that off the video background will not display on the title tool…and it also Excludes the alpha channel…So if his title was black and the “V” was off. You’d see complete black.
