  LCD Monitors

  I’m thinking about getting some nice LCD monitors for my 2 MC 12.0.8 G4’s. anyone have a favorite or suggested spec i should be looking at. i figure a nice 19″ would be fine but tell me different and i’d be happy to listen.
  horror stories welcome as well.
  contrast ratio/viewing angle and response time seem to be the most critical i’m assuming, but like i said i have very little knowledge of LCD monitors and their place in the AVID world.

  apples own displays are really nice, now the priced dropped aswell so they’re really affordable.

  the 20 inch is really a good deal!

  Check out the displays from a company called “Formac” They are quite good and as nice looking as apple’s. As a matter of fact lots of Mac systems that I know use formac’s monitors instead of apples as they are a lot cheaper and the looks are along the line.
