trouble with premiere edl and/or aaf importing
I’ve been trying to create an edl or aaf for online from my adobe premiere 1.5 to Avid, however in each situation I’ve been having problems. My edls need to be decomposed and then the cuts line up fine in the sequence yet the timecode is off when its batched. And aafs sequences are completely off! My footage is non drop and the edls and aafs were exported non drop from premiere, but occasionally during capture Avid claims that my tape is drop frame and the fooatge its looking for are non drop, and yet I know for a fact the tape is non drop. Any clues? Has anybody sucessfully been able to edl or aaf to online and what was your process?
