  Pics look like jigsaw puzzle after export

  Hi,
  I am exporting a project out of exp pro 5.0 as a quicktime ref. when i open sorenson and try to bring it in it crashes or only audio goes in. i have managed to get vision in once and the shots looked completely disjointed and jigsaw-like with the bottom third of the screen being just a big green bar. i opened it in After effects and the same thing happened. never seen this before. i fear something really bad has happened. can anyone help me? thanks…

  did you check quicktime version?
  Avid relies heavily on Quicktime, since it’s used for any im- or export function, especially for qt ref ;-))
  recommendations for the correct qt-version to use can be found in the readme-file of your xpress-pro.
  Just in case your using the 5.0 version: upgrade to at least 5.1.1 since there have been loads of bug fixes since…
