  Avid Xpress capture to network drive

  Can you capture directly to a networked drive using Avid Xpress? I tried in Avid Xpress DV and was only given the option to capture to my local PC drives. Are there any settings that can be changed in Avid Xpress DV to allow this function, or do I need to upgrade the software? If I need to upgrade, will Avid Xpress Pro allow me to do this? I am currently using Avid Xpress DV 4.6. Thank you

  the input-output-guide (available at avid.com) lights the dark:
  open your console window in xpress pro, enter “alldrives 1” and relaunch your software.
  that should do the trick…
