Newscutter NT stopping on playback
We have an older Newscutter NT based system that’s still chugging along. Recently it began stopping in the middle of playback from the sequence, especially on long sequences. I thought it may be a drive problem, so I tested it– digitized about ten mins. of video to each individual drive, and played back clips in a sequence. It only stopped when I used one drive, the others seemed fine. So we replaced that drive; tested it again and same thing…and only when playing back clips from that drive. It will play back about a third to half way through the segment, then it will stop for a few seconds, and then start playing again, with the audio all out of sync. No errors, like underrun errors or anything come up. Any ideas??? Thanks.
