  Capture from a Samsung SCD230 Camera

  Can anybody tell why when I connect this camera by S Video, I am getting a message of “No Input Video”, when I turn on the V,A1

  Do you have the correct input selected in the digitize tool? I’ve found, especially with consumer level cameras, it’s easier to capture in Windows movie maker. You’ll get an AVI, and it’s easy to import into Avid. The manual talks about a firewire interface – you’ll get better quality than going analog…

  Thanks, but still no luck! My avid is a media composer, on a dell xps m 1730 laptop. The driver I tried to install from Samsung goes partway thru and then comes up with a window installation failed.
