  exporting in avid

  Hello im new to using the avid system and i just want to know is ther any way to export finished projects in avid as .mov or quicktime movies? I am trying to edit clips so I can post them on the web can someone help me please????

  Sure. Edit your clips, select the tracks and make a mark in and out—then go to file, export then open up the options dialogue-choose custom(I think, not sitting at the avid right now) and set up your export.
