  Titling

  I am familiar with FCP but right now I need to know how to make crawling text in Avid Composer. Could someone please help me out? I am confused between the two editing systems.

  Open your Title Tool (Tools–>Title Tool), then in the far right hand side of your title tool bar click the C. When it’s highlighted, select your text tool and start typing. The title tool will automatically go to a new page when necessary. Format your text size and color and all then save it to your bin. Cut into your sequence and retime using keyframes if necessary.
