  AvidXpressDV_no video resource?

  Hi,
  Am getting no video playback from either the timeline or the canvas. When I hit play I can hear the audio and the TC is going, but it only shows the frame that I stop on.
  I am using a new MacPro, with plenty of speed and performance. Does it have to do with the “toggle digital video out”? If I unclick this, I get the message “unable to aquire video resources”.

  What version of XPress and what version of OS? Do you have sufficient RAM (at least 2gb)? What is the resolution of the footage you are trying to play back?
