  AVID 4.0 on 10.3.9 crashing

  every time it try to play in the composer or the timeline video that I have just digitized…it crashes.

  why?

  on a g4 laptop 10.3.9

  Might I add…. its when I play the footage backwards to get an inpoint.
  arggg!
