ok here is a silly question but if i have 500 titles (subtitles)and now i need to print a tape why do i need to render the effects while they play in realtime and nothing wrong with them?

one more thing is that a week a go i had to do another subtitles and after rendering everything a noticed that there is a difference between the picture that has a subtitle and the one that hasn’t????? eve n that the titles were rendered? that looked very strange and it wasnt professional

    any ideas?

If you have dissolves on your video, and you’ve dissolved (or used the fade effect, preferably) your titles, and those dissolves happen to be on top of eacy other, the dissolve below won’t play. If you just want to get it to tape, then crash record. If you need the sequence to start at a specific TC Avid will want you to render everything. There is a very good reason for this – unfortunately, it’s early Monday morning and the coffee isn’t working anymore. Perhaps someone more coherent than I can explain. BTW, have you tried expert render?

I’m not sure I follow – could you elaborate, please?
