Importing animated textures into Marquee?
Been poking around with my marquee title tool for the first time a little bit, and was curious about the process for animated textures. I read that you can use animated textures, so obviously i’m not nuts. Reading the PDF manual, they mention that the animated texture will loop itself when it comes to the end of the file. I get how to impot static textures and use them and I know how to manipluate the textures and all that. (simple really). __
But I just can’t figure out how to actually import animated textures!. I tried importing them to my User Texture folders as a quicktime, but it does not like the file format. I assumed you could just import a QT and use that like any other texture, but nope, that ain’t it. I also tried doing a pict sequence, but it (obviously) just sees the first frame. __
So, how do I import an animated texture?. What’s the file type?. What compression?, dimensions?. Is importing it any different than a static texture?. Does it only import on odd numvered days after performing a Voodoo ceremony under the light of the full moon?. Have I gone completely stupid and it’s really obvious and I’m just an idiot?. Is it Live?, is it Memorex? __
‘Spose I should look at the PDF again (groan….). In the meantime, if anyone knows, I’d appreciate the help. Looking through that manual sucks. __
Tanx doodz.
