  Panasonic AJSDX900+Xpress Pro

  Hi,

  Has anyone worked with Panasonic AJSDX900 + firewired via
  AJSD93 deck to Xpress pro?

  I’m preparing a grant application for my next film and need to
  research/cost out a working plan without testing in advance…

  Do you mean firewire from the 900 into the deck, or firewire out of the deck into AXP?

  At the very least, firewire would be an option out of the camera – it’s not standard, and with the quality of the 900, I’m not sure I’d want firewire out.

  According to this link, (https://www.avid.com/content/6844/DVDeviceQual_9_12_04.htm), it doesn’t look like the deck you want is supported by the AXP system. Of course, I’m using an ‘unsupported’ deck (the Pannie AJ-SD930B), controlled via RS422… Your milage may vary…
