  Panther OS with Xpress Pro 4.6/4.8

  Is anybody using this setup and is it working for you?
  We’ll be upgrading to Xpress Pro but we’re not interested in upgrading the OS to tiger, however Avids website states “Earlier Mac operating systems are no longer being tested or qualified”.

  Xpress Pro 4.6 will work with Panther, however 4.8 requires Tiger.

  Thanks Wes, how is the 4.6 version with Panther, does it work well, i’ve heard bad things about 4.6?

  I’m not sure that Panther has any impact on whether 4.6 performs well or not. So yes, 4.6 has issues, but I’m not sure it is the fault of the OS.
