  Who’s going and What are you looking for?

  I’ll be at the Media Motion Ball….probably will miss the Supermeet. How about Zelin….does he still do a bash at the Hard Rock?

  How about hardware? Anyone really interested in VR and 360 video? I saw Canon’s announcement about 8k cameras….maybe they just sort of skipped over 4k with slim offerings to go straight to 8k.

  I always love the Christie booths video demo….never been disappointed.

  Looking for LTO7 desktop solutions for Mac.

  Will it be mostly iMacs or trash cans running the software?

  New Augmented reality booths as well.

  Whew. What else?

  I encourage you to spend some time at NAB looking away from content creation tools, and spend some time looking at the content. You typically see more of it being talked about in panels and keynotes, but if you’re feeling dour about the industry’s prospects, I submit that it’s because you haven’t grasped the scope of what’s happening out there.

  I love that statement because that is one thing I do at NAB exclusively….watch content. I remember seeing the 8K demo from NHK a couple years back….never forget my first 8k! Looking forward to eye drooling 4k everywhere.
  It’s going to be tons of inspiration and great moments, mostly visually, and then some hardware/software conversations!
