  Import Image into ProAnimator 6.1

  Hello,

  I love being able to import images into ProAnimator; when I import “clear” background files (pngs and tgas) the clear, blank area around my object gets filled in once inside ProAnimator.
  Is there any way around this? I want just my image, not the background.

  Hi Kerri,

  When importing an image with a transparent background into ProAnimator, be sure you are importing the image into the “Transparency” section of the Material Editor as well. Once the image has been loaded into both the “Color” and “Transparency” sections, you should the image without the background.

  Hi Kerri.

  By default, images are placed over a Base Color,
  but you can turn this off.

  Follow these steps to import an image with transparency:
  1. Create a new Material.

  2. Add an Image Shader to your Color Channel.
  

  3. Turn off Base Color for the Color Channel.
  

  The Material should now have the transparency without the base color.
