  Trapcode Particular Light Streak Around a 3D Invigorator?

  I can’t seem to move the light streak transition (via Trapcode Particular) around a 3D Invigorator text. 3D Invig does not recognize Trapcode Particular’s Obscuration Effect. Is there any way I could do it? Here’s the one I am trying to copy:
