  “24” Opening Graphic

  For anyone who watches “24” with Keifer Sutherland, I’d like to
  re-create the animated 24 at the begining of the show, only using characters, like ABC or XYZ….

  I have seen a suggestion using AE, but I don’t own the program, so
  if you can suggest another app or method to do this, it would be great!

  If you want to use a program other than After Effects, why post in the AE forum? Perhaps you should try the motion graphics forum.
  However, before you run over there and post right away, what program would you be using instead? Perhaps there is a forum here for your specific program (such as Motion).

  Well I thought that users of AE have a knowledge of other programs!

  I tried creating a gif animation. It’s pretty good, but when I save to an avi
  it looks like crap!
