I have a small Invigorator object sitting on an AE 3D grid, using comp camera, but when I make a big camera move the object slides around in X and Y space. It stays relatively where it belongs but it looks like it’s floating. So how does one lock these disparate worlds together?

    Have a wonderful day.

    Hi Chris,

I would advise you to create your 3D grid in Invigorator to keep everything in a single 3D world.

Creating a 3D plane at the same aspect ratio then your grid comp and using the layer mapping technique to texture your plane would do the trick.

You could send me your animated project (serge at nyc-visual dot com)
I will be glad to troubleshoot it for you 😉

    Salut.
    Serge
