I am using the Pro Animator Plug in for Final Cut 6.0.3. I am having trouble with anti-aliasing. No matter what I set the output to in Pro animator, there is no difference in the rendered video in FCP. I can see how the different setting is ProAnimator effect the outcome in the render preview, but no matter what I do, there seems to be no anti-aliasing in the FCP render.

There does seem to be some difference in the render settings in the filters tab in FCP, but nothing near what it should look like.

When I use the plug in with Motion, there is no problem. But in FCP the results are unusable.

I went through the manual, but that seems more for the stand alone version, and not for the plug in.

I appreciate any help on this.

What time line settings are you using? I have tried a bunch different time line settings and and nothing looks nearly as good as the projects in motion.

The HD timelines are OK, but not great.

So I tried sending a clip to Motion, and applying the PAFx plug in there. The results in motion are much better.

However, back in final cut, the text is upside down on the imported motion file???????? It looks clean, but it is upside down.

I’m using proAnumator FX plug in for FCP and Motion so it might be different than stand alone.
    Not tried Motion yet.
    FCP timeline is DVCPRO50

I am using the plug in as well.

I will try the DVCpro 50 timeline and see what happens.
