  ProAnimator FX/Motion: objects disappear in “3D Preview” window

  I am a new user. I am working on my first project with ProAnimator FX in Motion. The problem I am having is that after I create a 3D object in ProAnimator and return to the Motion interface, when I click the “Click to Edit” button to make changes, my objects are completely invisible in the “3D Preview” window in ProAnimator. If I then make any “tweaks” to my invisible objects and click “OK” to return to Motion, my objects then disappear from Motion also.

  I was eventually able to find my objects – I think I couldnt see them because they were “off-screen” as it were. I am using the Motion camera for this project, so it is a little confusing to locate things. I cannot find any easy way to move my view around inside ProAnimator to find my objects.

  What I did to eventually get my objects into view was to drag the layer with my ProAnimator project all the way to the top of the Motion project. Im not sure why this worked, but it seemed to do the trick.

  Hi Clayton.

  Since the camera is locked within the PA interface, consider turning on the “Offline Camera” when inside the PA UI. This allows you to move the camera more freely.
