Just wondering if there were any plans to improve the interface for ProAnimator. I have a lot of issues with the way things are laid out and it’s made me use it less. Today I had to use it and, it’s so handy and great and then, the interface just started to get on my nerves again. I’m only asking because I DO like it and it’s so handy but it’s a shame the interface just gets in the way.

The new unified interface has been included with the just released FX version of ProAnimator. That means it will only be a matter of time before we see that in the AE version.

I just watched the QuickStart movie on Zaxwerks site, that new interface is beautiful, just what I was wishing for. Can’t say I agree with squeezing the timeline on the side like that in the Animation view though. Anyway, I’d definitely pay for a upgrade for the new interface alone. C’mon Zaxwerks!

P.S. I’m a little starstruck that you answered my post. Love your stuff.

    Hi John.

The new interface is very customizable, very flexible.
We’ve added the concept of Workspaces that you can
switch between with the click of a button (or a hot key).
You can use the pre-defined Workspaces or you can
    create your own.

If you have Motion or Final Cut Pro, you can download
the ProAnimator FX demo and check it out.

    Stay tuned.

    Hi John,

Glad to hear you like the new UI! The layout of the workspaces was optimized for small monitors. The beauty of the new workspace UI is that you can arrange the panels to best fit your own style and screen configuration!

Yes, but I’m a Windows/Adobe guy. Do you have any idea when we can enjoy this new interface in After Effects?
