  Closed 3D book with Invig Pro

  Hi All

  I am trying to work out how to build a closed hardback book using Invig Pro. The problem is creating an edge profile that has a convex spine and a concave leading edge and also having the hard cover (front and back) extending beyond the dimensions of the pages so that it looks like a hardback rather than just a paperback book.

  i am not sure if i should be trying to bolt a few primitives together to get this look or if there is a solution to this using a single custom edge

  any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi Dax,

  You don’t need a custom edge to create a book.

  Download the following ai file:

  Open the file in IL to see how the cover as well as the rest was created. (Layer 1 & 2)
