    Hey guys,

I know you can set Proanimator to work with your comp camera. I set my camera moves in proanimator, but I have other layers that I want to work with the same camera move in 3d space as well in my original comp. Is there a way to export my camera settings from Proanimator, and then apply them to my comp camera, so all my layers work with the same camera move? Thanks guys.

    Hi John,

I would advise you to create planes inside of PA and map them with your AE layers. This way all your objects will intersect perfectly with each other, your shadows (If any) will also work.

Now if you are willing to play a little:
-Save your PA scene (File>Save Scene)then import this scene into AE.

-When you open the Imported PA Comp you will find a camera layer named “PA Camera” It should contain all the moves you tweaked in PA which is what you are after.
The comp will also contain null objects/layers representing all your PA 3D objects.

-Now you could copy your “PA Camera” layer and paste it in your main comp. BUT remember that although both cameras will have the same behavior they both work in different 3D worlds so your objects won’t intersect.

    I hope this may help.

    Salut,
    Serge
