Hi, I just purchased ProAnimator. Is there a way to apply a video surface to an object in ProAnimator? I understand how to apply a still image, but it seems that some of the demos at Zaxwerks have moving video applied to different shapes and even text. Thanks in advance, Donovan

    Hi Donovan,

Yes you can. It happens in the material editor. Instead of double clicking the thumbnail to choose an image, simply choose a movie, then apply the material to your object.

If you want to get more precise, you can use PA within After Effects. Doing so and using precomps allows more control of posioning, timing and other aspects of the process.

    Does this help?

Jon, thanks very much for the information. That’s exactly what I wanted to know. I have an older version of AE at this point, but look forward to upgrading so I can use it with Pro Animator. Donovan
