    Hi

I would like to composite a 3d Invig. object on live footage within AE.
I have 3d tracking data from a matchmoving app..I saved it as a (.ma) file so Ae can handle it.No problem so far.

I’ve imported this 3d tracking data into AE.
Ae did create a camera that matches the live footage camera.
But how can i now match my 3d invig object into the scene?
Enabling just the Use Comp Camera option does not work!

    Any Ideas?

When i save the object as a C4D file and try the whole thing in Cinema it works but all texture, tranparency and reflection maps don’t show up.

Remember that although Invigorator can “share” the comp camera it isn’t placing the 3D objects in the same 3D space as AE objects so there are limitations. This is more than likely the problem you are coming up against. Have you considered retexturing your object in Cinema?

    Hi
thank you Jon for your reply.

I’ve tried it a bunch of times but i gave up to do it this way.Invig is not the right app.for this task.Anyway it was worth a try.I finally did it all in C4D.

    cheers
