    Hi people,

I’m pretty green at invigorator/3D graphics and am just trialing invigorator now to see if it’s for me.

I’ve generated an object from illustrator files and primates and am planning to put some vision on it using a layer map. I am trying to set up a number of these objects so the camera can dolly across them all.

The problem is that when I duplicate the object and controller (solid) and move the duplicated object forward to reposition it – it sinks into the floor layer when I’m orbiting with the camera. On some angles it looks ok but when the camera zooms in the object sinks into the ground.

I’m using the comp camera to orbit around a 3D room.

I’ve tried everything but can’t seem to get the objects to stick to the ground once they’ve been moved off the back wall.

Any tips would be helpful. Sorry if this is simple question, I can’t seem to find any answers elsewhere on the forum.

    Cheers, Alex

Sounds like you’ve started with something a little tricky. If you’d like to send me the project file I’ll take a look.
