  Error: no usable vector paths?

  I should probably start out by saying that I’m a huge newb to Invigorator. I got the plug-in for a project I’m doing for my job. I’m basically trying to take an Illustrator .ai file with a few different layers and extrude them to different amounts. But, everytime I open a .ai file, I get this error:

  Attention!

  There were no usable vector paths in this file.

  Does anyone know what the problem is?

  Hi Festival,

  Try doing a “save as” and unchecking the “use compression” box.

  Also, convert any text to outlines and be sure your file includes vector rather than bit-mapped elements.
